Terms & Conditions
DRAFT FOR LEGAL REVIEW · Updated October 12, 2026. These terms cover independent grading preparation, consignment and the CRX website and app. Legal business identity, jurisdiction and final transaction policies must be confirmed before adoption. Physical card intake requires a separate signed agreement.
1. Scope and current availability
This storefront remains a preview. Verified accounts, password reset, private conversations, account-linked service requests, private collection records and card-photo uploads are available. Staff inventory intake is restricted to authorized staff. Daily market pricing awaits licensed data and exact card matches. Online checkout is not open yet. A request receipt confirms receipt only; it is not a service contract or authorization for work, payment, sale or shipping. Wait for a written quote, a separate service agreement and shipping instructions before paying or sending cards.
2. Eligibility and accounts
Account users must have legal capacity to contract and satisfy any stated age and regional requirements. Parents or guardians must authorize any permitted minor use. Account holders must provide accurate information, protect credentials, and promptly report suspected misuse. Administrative access is restricted to authorized personnel. Suspension for fraud, misuse, or legal compliance should be proportionate and does not remove accrued statutory consumer rights.
3. Listings, condition, and authenticity
Listings must identify the item offered, whether photographs show the actual item, known condition issues, and known restoration or alteration. Raw-card condition descriptions are opinions, not third-party grades. Image cropping, lighting, and screens can affect appearance. A certification number or holder does not create a CRX guarantee of a grading company’s future decision. Material listing errors must be corrected; affected customers must receive notice and any remedy required by law.
4. Orders, prices, and payment
Before checkout is enabled, customers must see the currency, price, applicable taxes, shipping charges, and total. An automated acknowledgment is not necessarily acceptance; the final checkout terms must explain when a contract forms. CRX may reject fraudulent or unavailable orders consistently with applicable law and return any amounts collected for canceled orders. Payment information should be processed by a designated payment provider, not sent by email or stored in public site content.
5. Shipping and delivery
Eligible destinations, handling times, tracking, insurance, signature requirements, and responsibility for customs charges must be disclosed before purchase. Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed. The point at which risk transfers must comply with applicable consumer law; these draft terms do not shift loss to a customer merely because a carrier received a parcel. Customers should retain packaging and promptly report missing or damaged items.
6. Returns, cancellations, and refunds
A final policy must state return windows, conditions, initiation procedures, return shipping responsibility, and refund timing before payment. No blanket final-sale statement overrides mandatory rights concerning defective, counterfeit, misdescribed, or undelivered goods. Any lawful exceptions for opened sealed products or customized services must be clearly disclosed and reviewed for the markets served. No return period or restocking fee is established by this draft.
7. Grading preparation and customer property
CRX offers independent grading preparation: condition review, photographs, card identification, organization and protective packaging as specified in a written quote. Do not ship cards before CRX accepts the intake and supplies instructions. The agreement records ownership, existing condition and known alterations, authorized work, separate preparation and grading costs, shipping, insurance, custody and return arrangements. No trimming, recoloring, pressing, polishing or other alteration is included. CRX’s review is an opinion, not a grade or authentication. The selected grading company alone determines eligibility, authenticity, grade, fees and turnaround under its own terms. No grade or value increase is guaranteed. CRX is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or an authorized representative of any grading company.
8. Uploads and intellectual property
Users may submit only material they own or are authorized to share. A final upload agreement should grant CRX only the rights reasonably necessary to provide the requested service; marketing reuse requires separate authorization where required. Original CRX material is protected where applicable. Third-party cards, art, names, logos, likenesses, trademarks, and certification marks remain owned by their respective rights holders. CRX has no direct affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship from those rights holders. Identification use is not a claim of ownership. A reviewed process and contact for infringement notices must be published at launch.
9. Prohibited conduct
Do not attempt unauthorized access, bypass security, scrape private records, upload malware, impersonate another person, submit stolen or counterfeit property, manipulate allocations, or use the site for fraud, harassment, or unlawful transactions. Any future operator action described as burn must be specifically defined and authorized; this draft does not authorize destroying a customer’s property or records.
10. Collectible risk and third parties
Collection values are estimates for matching card variants, conditions, and grades, not guaranteed sale proceeds or an account balance. Daily comparisons require consecutive dated snapshots using the same pricing method. Missing, stale, or uncertain prices are excluded from current totals and movements. A daily check does not guarantee new market evidence or a price change. Collectible prices fluctuate and may fall to zero. CRX content is not investment, tax, or legal advice. Third-party services have their own terms; brand references do not imply endorsement. CRX remains responsible for its own obligations and cannot disclaim non-waivable rights or duties.
11. Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by law, informational preview content is provided without a promise of uninterrupted access or complete accuracy. A final agreement may include reasonable, jurisdiction-specific limitations, but must not exclude liabilities that cannot lawfully be limited, including applicable consumer guarantees or liability for fraud and other non-excludable conduct. No arbitrary damages cap, blanket waiver, or automatic customer indemnity is adopted in this draft. Counsel must tailor any such provision to the actual business and services.
12. Privacy, disputes, and governing law
The privacy notice must identify actual data practices and providers. Customers should first be offered a published support channel to raise concerns, without losing access to regulators, small-claims procedures, or other legal remedies. Governing law, venue, dispute procedures, and any arbitration proposal remain unset pending the business location and legal review. Nothing here removes mandatory protections in a consumer’s home jurisdiction.
13. Changes, records, and launch requirements
Material changes should be dated and communicated as required; revised terms should not retroactively alter an accepted order without a lawful basis. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder applies only to the extent permitted by law. Before launch, identify the legal contracting party and address, provide an accessible contact, confirm all transaction policies, obtain any required licenses, and implement a recorded acceptance process for the applicable terms. This draft alone does not create that process or guarantee protection from claims.
14. Consignment
CRX sells accepted cards on consignment as an independent business. Before shipment, both parties approve an itemized agreement covering inventory, ownership, condition, listing format, pricing and offer authority, custody, insurance, and returns. The total selling fee is 22% for an item sale below $500, 20% for $500–$1,999.99, and 18% for $2,000–$7,499.99; $7,500+ requires a written quote before listing. One tier applies to the entire item sale price, excluding buyer tax and separately charged shipping. The minimum fee is $20, capped at the item sale price. Standard selling and payment fees, photography, routine listing and packing work are included; no second standard platform or processing deduction applies. Expected value is generally $100+ per card or agreed lot. There is no upfront selling fee: the agreed fee and approved costs are deducted from the sale, and net proceeds are credited to your CRX account. An account credit records money owed to you; it is not confirmation of a completed transfer. Inbound shipping is the consignor’s responsibility. Buyer-paid outbound shipping is handled separately and is not part of the consignor payout. Optional advertising, grading prep, special insurance, seller-funded shipping, or other extras require prior written approval. CRX absorbs costs caused by its own listing, fulfillment, or seller-performance errors. Payout is due within 7 business days after delivery, expiry of the agreed buyer return period, and release of sale funds, provided no return or dispute is open. The statement itemizes sales, fees, approved costs, and payout. A refunded or canceled sale earns no CRX selling commission; documented third-party costs and any reversal of an earlier payout are handled under the agreement. The initial term is 90 days from first listing unless otherwise agreed. Unsold cards remain the consignor’s property; choose relisting or return. No CRX unsold-card or withdrawal penalty applies, but approved return shipping and previously authorized third-party costs remain payable. Withdrawal is subject to active bids, accepted offers, and applicable selling rules. The agreement defines loss or damage handling, payout method, exact return period, and dispute process before intake. No sale price, sale date, or financial return is guaranteed. Mandatory customer rights remain unaffected.
